The Runaway Hug
Storytime at Home
with Fiona the Storyteller
Lucy borrows Mum’s very last hug, and shares it with her family. The hug becomes softer, sleepier, more slobbery, and a little bit peanut buttery, as it travels up, down, and all around, through Lucy’s home.
Written by Nick Bland and illustrated by Freya Blackwood, The Runaway Hug won the 2012 CBCA Early Childhood Book of the Year.
Glimpse a cosy night in at Lucy’s house, with Storyteller Fiona.
Today in Storytime Craft, Fiona shows us how to make some special greeting cards that you can send to someone you care about.
