Spydus facebook app

The Spydus Service application may be added to a Facebook profile. Use your existing account or join Facebook by going to www.facebook.com.

Go to the Search field in Facebook and search for Spydus Service. Add it to your profile.

Choose Central West Libraries as the catalogue in which you wish to search.

The search page will open up within Facebook. You will not be automatically logged in when performing a search.

For a quick search, users can also perform a search from the Profiles page.

Scroll down the Profiles page and you will find a small search box. Type in your search term and choose the library catalogue (Central West Libraries) to search within.

The search results will be retrieved in a separate webpage.

Instead of “Demo Library”, choose Central West Libraries from the drop down list. You may search other library’s catalogues but your CWL Username / Borrower ID and PIN will not be recognised.

Please note that as Facebook may change the appearance and features on its profile pages, these instructions are a general guide.
