Alan Inspires Artists at Cowra

Author vist 2013 Alan at Cowra

Author and illustrator Alan Robinson read from his books and showed how he created his wonderful pictures at Cowra Library recently. He also described the publishing process and where his ideas came from. Both children and adults were absolutely engaged during his presentations. He did some drawing which was simply amazing using nothing but a bit of chalk, butchers paper and a black marker. Aspiring artists at the event tried their hand at the art then and there. He has plans to complete his Children’s book series adding Grandpa’s Farm – Autumn and Winter, to his popular Spring and Summer books. Thank you to everyone who came along and the team at Cowra Visitor Information Centre for supporting the event.
