Poet Diana Bell Brooks Launches The Fortune Bird

Poet Diana Bell Brooks with Fortune Bird (wide) (Small)

“Fortune Bird, the author’s first book of poetry, is a collection of personal lyrics notable for their emotional maturity and their sparkling images. Reading these poems will take you around the world and into a deep well of feeling,” said poet Ron Petty.  Diana has a degree in English Literature and a Dip Ed. from Sydney University. Her teaching, research and administrative interests lie in adult education, and she has taught adults in a number of fields, including creative writing. In her early days in the district, she was a founding member of the Central West Writers’ Centre.

Meet Poet Diana Bell Brooks on Thursday 5th September at 5.30pm at Orange City Library to help celebrate this wonderful achievement. Please RSVP by calling 6393 8132.
