After reading Rose’s Garden at September’s Storytime, the children made flowers and planted them in the garden at the library’s entrance. They certainly added some early spring colours to the garden.  Rose’s Garden is about a girl who plants a flower garden with seeds, but after a year the plants haven’t emerged.  So children in the town start bringing Rose paper flowers that they have made to plant in her garden.  Last month we read The Lamington Man and can you guess what we made afterwards?  So come along on the first Thursday of the month at 11.00am and join in the fun.
