What is R U OK? Day?

A national day of action to remind all Australians of the importance of asking our mates, colleagues and family “Are you ok?” It’s on the second Thursday of every September (in 2014, September 11).

How can a conversation change a life?

Regular, face-to-face conversations can help us to build and maintain strong relationships with friends and family. In turn, research shows that people with these strong relationships are more likely to cope with life’s ups and downs. Who will you ask R U OK?
