Local births, death, and marriages index
Search Central West Libraries newspaper index compiled by the Orange Family History Group team of volunteers.
Since 2009, they have created almost 150,000 entries which index births, death, marriages and other milestones reported in the local newspapers. They have concentrated on the Central Western Daily from 1946, and the Orange Leader between 1913 and 1920. The complete run of the Orange Leader from 1899 to 1945, and the Central Western Daily from 1945 to 1954 have been digitised and are available on Trove. Orange City Library also has a collection on microfilm.
