Children's Book Council of Australia Awards Shortlist

Congratulations to author Libby Gleeson and illustrator Freya Blackwood for their book Clancy & Millie and the Very Fine House which is on the Book of the Year Early Childhood shortlist. Libby and Freya gave talks to schoolchildren at Orange City Library last year.

As you can see the Children's Book Council of Australia has announced their awards shortlist in a number of categories including Book of the Year for Older Readers, for Younger Readers, Early Childhood and Picture Book and the Eve Pownall Award for Information Books.

Here are the shortlisted books for Book of the Year – Older Readers:
