More Library Lovers Winners – Cowra Library

Library Lovers Day 2011 at Cowra Library was celebrated with a spirit of frivolity and a quest for information. Library lovers pondered the quotes on display (pictured), browsed the romance books and dreamed of Mr/Ms Right. The quiz set them off scurrying to the shelves to look up who each identity might be. The core Library group from the Family History room did what they do best- assisted one another in their research and all came up with identical answers- even writing one another's names for the image appearing in the mirror!
Two patrons won a box of delicious chocolates each for the most correct entries in the Quiz and five runners up are now the recipients of 10 free reservations . A further four lovers(the family history groupies)each received a beautiful handmade book mark (pictured) for participation. Our newest casual Fiona was responsible for the gorgeous hand crafted hearts and bookmarks. A full list of winners follows: Winners- chocolates –
Moira Meiklejohn and Elizabeth Pattingale.
Runners up-10 free reservations: Jane Stendell, Carmen Haran, John Croudace,
Louise Buckley and Emily Craiger-Smith.
Participation-bookmark: Susan Gallagher,
Norma Walker, Catherine Thompson and
Marina Bennett.
