Writing Workshop and Cafe Poet – Poetry Reading

Wanting to Write? Well here's your chance!
Discover fresh new ways of writing and thinking about place. Let experienced writer and teacher, Deb Westbury (pictured) take you on a guided tour through the fertile natural landscape story memory and life history. Find the unexpected associations, connections and relationships that occur when you allow yourself to write spontaneously. Thrill yourself and your readers with exciting new writing projects that turn from caterpillars into butterflies everywhere you look.
No previous writing experience is necessary. Deb has been a familiar and respected voice in Australia poetry since her work was first published in 1975. Her poetry has since been widely anthologised, including the Oxford Anthology of Women's Verse. She teaches courses in creative writing at university and high schools and now resides in the Blue Mountains.
