School Holiday Activity: Global Cardboard Challenge is Here

 

 

 

Join the Global Cardboard Challenge. A worldwide celebration of child creativity. Create and build something amazing using cardboard and your imagination.

Wednesday 23 September – 1.30 – 4.30pm inspire, imagine and build

 Thursday 24 September – 9.30 – 12.30pm play and share

Bring paper boxes (like cereal) – empty and flattened. For ages 5 to adult. Parents and carers encouraged to stay. Children under 8 need to be supervised by parent and carers. Orange City Library bookings essential Ph: 6393 8132

Orange knitting group, the Orange Purlers, spent Thursday morning sewing labels onto knitted rugs supplied by other knitting groups from Molong, Parkes, Eugowra, Grenfell, Oberon and Condobolin. ABC Radio breakfast presenter Brooke Daniels collected all the knitted squares and rugs during her trips around the Central West. Thank you to everyone for your donations.

Discover Anime film when we screen Spirited Away, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Howl’s Moving Castle at Orange City Library on Wednesday 23 September, Thursday 24 September and Friday 25 September from 5pm – 7pm. Theatresports afternoon group

The funnest fun you can have with words and acting. Learn the skills the actors use on shows like Thank God You’re Here and Theatre Games Live. Highly trained professionals from Canobolas Rural Technology High School will be on hand to take you through the rigours of side-splitting funny games like Death in a Minute, Taxi Driver and Party Quirks.
