A big thank you to the Judge(s) for awarding my poem ‘Emu girl, on the day before flying’ first prize in the Open Poetry Section of this year’s awards! Thanks also to Orange City Council and Central West Libraries for continuing to run the Banjo Paterson Writing Awards, which I have enjoyed entering since 2008.

Congratulations to all the prize winners in each category.

    All best wishes, Joanne Mills.
