Knit a square for Knit In at Cowra

Cowra Library has become a drop off point for the ABC Radio campaign “Knit In 2008” for a non-profit group called Knit For Love that sends warm woollen wraps around the world. Anyone can drop in balls of wool, squares or wraps they have knitted or crocheted. There is a collection bag and the cut off date is Wednesday 30 July, 2008. See the display of knitting books, knitted items as well as other winter time crafts. The pattern for the squares is available from the Library and more information about the campaign and knitting instructions are available from the ABC website:
http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/2008/05/16/2263444.htm?site=centralwest. So start knitting.
