Happy Seniors Week!

It's NSW Seniors Week and across our 7 branches we're celebrating the contribution that older people make to our community. The definition of a senior is “over 50” and this alone has had some of our staff reaching for the Grecian 2000!

The library supports the senior members of the community through the provision of tailored services. These include:
* Large print books,
* Audio books on tape, CD, MP3 and most recently as downloads
* Home Library Service, delivering library materials to clients who can't come to us
* The Library Bus, transporting elderly clients to the library (orange only).

We also offer specially designed programs such as the internet for seniors – we're told that our staff are not so intimidating as some “younger” trainers!

Seniors Week 2009 – Live Life 50 and Beyond

Enjoy your special week.
