The Inconvenient Child Authors Visit Forbes and Cowra

Bring along tissues for an emotional rollercoaster talk about an amazing life. Storytellers Sharyn Killens and Lindsay Lewis (pictured signing books) share the story of heartache and ultimate triumph in their book The Inconvenient Child. Sharyn talks about foster homes, institutions, struggles with her mother and unknown father while Lindsay is the narrator filling in the background and details to give a deeper understanding of these difficult times. The authors impressed the audience at Orange City Library yesterday and continue their tour of the Central West with talks at Forbes Library, Victoria Lane, Forbes on Wednesday 9 June at 2pm and Cowra Library, Darling Street, Cowra, on Thursday 10 June at 10.30am. The authors have been friends for more than 20 years and worked together as entertainers so don't be surprised if they break into song.
