A crowd of 100 people including food producers, foodies, friends and family helped Sophie Hansen launch her book of recipes and producer interviews called Local is Lovely at Orange City Library.

Central West Libraries Manager Jan Richards hosted a conversation with author Sophie. They talked about how the book came about, her favourite season, Danish connections, her farm kitchen, her blog or the same name Local is Lovely, staple recipes and tips for entertaining. They also took questions from the audience and the book was launched to large rounds of applause. Sophie was presented with flowers from her publisher Hachette and the event was supported by Collins Booksellers, Orange.
