Resident “Pirate Fi” Storyteller opened the treasure chest today to read aloud pirate and dress up inspired stories for pre-schoolers at this week’s themed Storytime. Research shows the more senses engaged during fun activities like Storytime – the more children learn. Today they enjoyed being read to and created their own tiaras or  “Books are my treasure” bookmarks. Thank you to everyone (carers and parents included) who dressed up and we welcome more Pirates and Princesses (and the odd fairy) on Thursday!
