Knitting Group Donate Reading Log
Members of the Cowra Special Needs Knitting Group presented the Cowra Library with a handcrafted Reading Log which will attract and encourage the imaginations of the children who attend Storytime.
The “log” has been made from hand knitted and crocheted pieces made by the ladies using a variety of yarns to add sparkle and texture. It really is a piece of art and will be permanently housed within the Library. Some of the creative things on or around the log include toadstools, a snake, turtle, mouse, brilliant flowers, feathers, a nest, textures, grasses and much more. Come in and see it for yourself.
Our next monthly Cowra Storytime is on Thursday 6th November starting at 11am.
