It was a very warm place to gather this morning at the Cowra Library for its first Winter story time session. Maryanne began with the early birds reciting Aussie nursery rhymes, before our guest did the main reading for today. Our very special guest was  boy scout William who read Billy’s Bucket. For craft he led the little ones in cutting out sea creatures to fill their buckets just like in the story.

Maryanne read Cottonwool Colin and everyone made a white and woolly mouse from cotton balls to take home. A big thank you to William who presented the story like an experienced old hand. He had all the audience transfixed with the story, as you can see from the photo.
