Cowra Library hosted its annual volunteers party with a large gathering assembled in the Library for morning tea provided by staff. Guests included Councillor Ray Walsh and Graham Apthorpe and volunteers from the Cowra Family History Group and Home delivery services. Mayor Bill West gave thanks to all the volunteers and commented on the wealth of things to do and see in public libraries and commending staff on the work done.

A demonstration of the capabilities of the new Smart TV was received with great interest, as was the brief talk about early literacy trends and what libraries have on offer including a demo of storybox. Thank you to all our Library volunteers.
