Library Lovers Day Friday 14 February

Forget Valentine’s Day. Celebrate Library Lovers Day! The theme for Library Lovers’ Day 2020 is ‘Uncover something new’.  Library Lovers’ Day is an opportunity for library and information professionals to show off their libraries and for people across Australia to show their love for libraries.

Central West Libraries are asking everyone to share their book recommendations so you can “uncover something new” to read, listen to or watch.

Everyone has a book they’ve fallen “in love with” and we want you to share the books you love.

Write down the title and author of one of your favourite books on a card provided at the Library and put it in the box and choose a card to discover a book that someone else loves for you to enjoy.

You can also enjoy a blind date with a book and maybe find your “perfect match”.

So share the love and visit your local library – Blayney, Canowindra, Cowra, Forbes, Manildra, Molong and Orange on Friday 14 February.
