Today, Fiona is reading the CBCA award-winning children’s classic, Grandpa and Thomas, by Pamela Allen. Grandpa and Thomas have a wonderful day on the beach, playing, eating, and building sandcastles.

Storytime Activity

Can you gather some of your favourite toys together, spread a blanket on the floor or in your backyard, and pretend you’re having a picnic by the sea? Maybe you have a sandpit you can play in? Or, you could draw some seashells or sea creatures.
