Online collections are available as part of your library membership. Some online databases may be used only on particular computers in the Library; many others only require verification of your membership.

If you are using a PC or other internet enabled device at home or away from a CWL library you will need a password to log on. Contact Library staff to arrange this for you.

Your Central West Libraries membership card will allow you to sign up for downloads of popular titles in a digital audio format. Click on the links below and follow the steps for each supplier.

BorrowBox, indyreadsHoopla and Libby have free apps available from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.  Find the app, download it, search for Central West Libraries, then use your membership number (and PIN if prompted) to log in.

ULibrary is a **NEW** free service where you can borrow eAudiobooks and eBooks. You can stream titles with WiFi or mobile data, or download them for offline use using the uLibrary App. Users can log into and use the App across multiple devices including PCs, Apple Mac, iPhone, iPad and other tablet devices. There are updated book genre and other categories, “what to read next” recommendations and the ability to bookmark pages. All digital titles are automatically returned on their due dates. Check it out – it is free!

Libby
As from 8 March 2021 Central West Libraries will change how you access eAudiobooks, ebooks and eMagazines that were previously been accessed through RBDigital.  You will need to download the ‘Libby’ App to your device and select Central West Libraries as your library.

Library relocated from Tuesday 23 January 2024

Due to renovations being undertaken in the Gaskill Street building, the Canowindra Library will be relocated to the Freemason’s Hall, 39 Blatchford Street, Canowindra. The library reopens in the new location on Tuesday 23th January at 1pm.

Canowindra Library is now temporarily located in the Freemasons Hall – Masonic Lodge in Blatchford Street in picturesque Canowindra. It is a service of Cabonne Council.

Orange City Library is located adjacent to the Orange Regional Gallery in the award-winning building with the Civic precinct. It is a service of Orange City Council. Parking is off Lords Place. Entry to the library is from the southern side of the building.
