People have more options to manage their own mental health and wellbeing after Central West Libraries in partnership with the University of Newcastle’s Centre for Remote and Rural Mental Health launched Books on Prescription. For details go to the website books onprescription.com.au

The Orange ReadersandWritersFestival Program is here.

The program includes a great line up guests from Caroline Overingon to Better Reading’s Cheryl Akle, authors Trevor Shearston and Liz Porter and crime reporter Mark Morri as well as a panel of personalities to talk about our Villain Attraction including former Orange Magistrate Jan Stevenson and psychiatrist Dr Martyn Patfield.

It will be a lively event at the Hotel Canobolas on Saturday 9th July from 10am – 5pm. Tickets $60.
