Christmas Opening Hours

Central West Libraries close early on Christmas Eve. Get in early to borrow your holiday reading, listening or watching material. Blayney, Cowra and Forbes Libraries will close for the holidays at 1pm Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24 Dec) and usual hours resume 2 January 2020. Orange City Library will be open between Christmas and New Year. Check the times below and usual hours for all branches resume on Jan 2.

 

Christmas Maker Space (Craft)

Children: Looking to make a last minute Christmas gift for Aunt Mildred because you spent all your pocket money on chocolate frogs?

Parents: Need more time to prepare for Christmas? (or lie on the couch – we won’t tell anyone).

We are hosting a festive Maker Space in Orange City Library for children on Monday 23 December. It is a fun way to start the school holidays and get into the Christmas spirit.

There are two sessions for ages 8 – 16.

Morning 10am – 12 noon

Afternoon 1pm – 3pm

Cost $5 per child per session.

Summer Reading Club is Here!

Join Summer Reading Club and keep entertained with reading fun during Summer. Register at your local library for reading activities during the school holidays, make your own zine, build the paper chain by reading books and join in the Wrap Party on Thursday 23 January at Orange City Library at 2pm. Don’t forget to book online for the Wrap Party or call 6393 8132. You can also register online for extra Summer Reading Club activities.
