Claudia Harrison Book Launch at Cowra
Join us on Friday 29th October when we host an author talk and book launch for local author Claudia Harrison and her novel Leading Me to You at Cowra Library at 10.30am. Please register to come along via Eventbrite or call us on 6340 2180.
“I have been living in the Central West for over a decade, having spent over nine years in Orange and most recently, my family and I moved out to a property just out of Cowra. My husband Chris and I have five beautiful children. I work full time as a Bank Manager, and in my tiny pockets of time, I decided that I would get serious about writing my book! I love to cook (which means that I also love to eat!). I have loved reading since I was a child. I discovered my passion for writing again recently which resulted in me publishing my first book (Leading me to you). With its prequel (Remind Me) being published shortly, I hope that you love the series as I have loved writing it!”
Vaccination Proof Required & We Can Help
NSW has a path to follow out of the pandemic and lockdowns, with the COVID-19 Roadmap for easing restrictions. From Monday 11 October various organisations, including our libraries, will require proof of your double dose vaccination. At our libraries we can help you get proof of your COVID-19 vaccination, and help you download your COVID-19 Digital Certificate to your device, or print out a copy. Please come and see us for assistance.
From Monday, visitors to our Libraries at Blayney, Canowindra, Cowra, Forbes, Manildra, Molong and Orange will need to show proof of their vaccination record. Those under 16 years must be accompanied by a double vaccinated adult from their household. And remember checking-in, wearing facemasks, physically distancing 1.5m, and hygiene rules apply.
Click, Call and Collect services are available at our libraries, if members are not able to visit us during this time.
Please use your library membership card to access ebooks, audiobooks, emagazines, Story Box Library or stream movies via Kanopy Kids, Kanopy or Beamafilm 24/7.
Thank you for your patience, kindness and support as we all weave our way through the COVID-19 Roadmap.
