A Peaceful Lunchtime with Tibetan Monks
What did you do at lunch time today? Discover a peaceful haven. We visited the Tibetan Monks at Orange Regional Gallery (next door to the library) creating their Sand Mandala: Sacred Footsteps from the Roof of the World. They will be here until Saturday 20 August.
The Gallery is open 10am – 5pm daily. Observe a traditional sand mandala being constructed, explore the beautiful shop with Tibetan handicrafts and meditation supplies and learn about Tibetan Buddhist arts. For more info phone the Gallery on 6393 8136 and see Saturday's Dissolution Ceremony at 2pm. Ahhhh! Enjoy the serenity.
