Historian Russell Moor Bloomfield Hospital Talk

Local historian Russell Moor

Local historian Russell Moor from the Marsden Rural History Research Centre will give a talk about the establishment of Bloomfield Hospital. This includes the rural enterprises – a dairy, piggery, vegetable garden and orchard as well as constructing roads, playing fields, golf course and bowling green. This is a unique story and an important piece of rural and social history accompanied by many photographs. Anyone interested in history will find this talk fascinating. The talk will be held at Orange City Library on Thursday 11th May at 5.30pm. Please book your place on Eventbrite.com or by calling the Library on 6393 8132.
