Enter Banjo Paterson Writing Awards

Love writing? This competition is for you. These awards honour the great Australian writer Banjo Paterson, born in Orange, to nurture and encourage writing with Australian content. The Short Story winner takes home $2,000, Contemporary Poetry winner $2,000 and there are cash prizes in the Childrens section for those aged 16 years and under. Entry fees apply. Entries open 17 February and close via email or post on Friday 6 May. Winners are announced at the Orange Readers and Writers Festival, Saturday 6 August.
