Children’s Programs Return for School Term

After the school holidays our children’s programs at Orange City Library return for the school term on the following dates:

Baby Book Time

Monday 10th October at 10am

Each session includes rhymes, action songs, finger plays and stories and runs for 30 minutes.

It is an interactive way for parents and carers to introduce babies to the fun of sharing nursery rhymes, action songs and stories.

Storytime

Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th October at 11am

Enjoy stories, sing songs, play games and do craft. They are held during school term and carer for pre-school age children and their carers. Storytime is free and sessions lasts for about one hour.

Ten Minutes a Day **New time**

Tuesday 11th October at 1.30pm

Ten Minutes a Day is a series of workshops that you share with your child of 0 – 2 that will help you develop skills to enhance language development, develop pre-literacy skills. Stimulate imagination and make reading to your child part of your everyday routine.

 Music For Little Ears

Wednesday 19th and Friday 21st October at 10am

Sessions initiate little ears to classical music, singing, percussion, dancing and musical games. They are conducted by Samantha Bartholomeusz from the Orange Regional Conservatorium and funded by the Orange Regional Arts Foundation. Each session goes for about 20 minutes. These sessions will run for six weeks.
