Keep donations coming in for walking duo
In seven weeks Marion and Caroline have clocked up more than 436000 steps i.e. about 218 km walking at Cowra Library to raise money for the Rotary Shelter Box project. Donations are coming in all the time and they greatly appreciate all the support given from library patrons. The pair still has some way to go to reach their target of $1200 and need a bit more help, so give them some encouragement next time you visit Cowra Library and make a donation. Cue music…”These boots were made for walking”…..

See the display of knitting books, knitted items as well as other winter time crafts. The pattern for the squares is available from the Library and more information about the campaign and knitting instructions are available from the ABC website:

Tis the Season for Snow
We could rave about politics or religion both very topical at the moment but that would be ignoring the obvious SNOW. The Bureau of Meteorology predicted snow falls above 700 metres and that's what the citizens of Orange are waking up to this morning with about 4 5 cm of snow covering everything. All the classic clich
