Egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunt Storytimes

Enjoy an egg-tra special outdoor Storytime with a magical Easter Egg Hunt in the Orange Community Garden (next to the Environmental Learning Facility at Orange Showground).  There will be songs, stories and lots of fun. Egg-cited preschoolers and their parents and carers are most welcome to join in what promises to be a charming and delightful egg-perience, but please book your place.  And please remember to wear a hat and sunscreen. Hatch a plan to come along! Easter Egg Hunt Storytimes will be held:

Cowra Seniors Festival

Seniors Festival time is here and we are celebrating at Cowra Library from Monday 28th.!!! Join us at Cowra Library for:

New date: David Hill Launches Reckoning

Great news! Author David Hill has recovered COVID and will talk about his latest book Reckoning: The Forgotten Children and their quest for justice at Orange City Library on Wednesday 20 April at 5.30pm.

Reckoning is David Hill’s follow up to The Forgotten Children – the heartbreaking, bestselling memoir and history which exposed the abuse against the children at Fairbridge Farm School, near Molong, and became the catalyst for a subsequent quest for justice in Australia and the UK. Collins Booksellers, Orange will be supporting the event.

Author Talk with Nicole Alexander

Meet successful rural-based author Nicole Alexander at Orange City Library on Tuesday 22 March at 5.30pm – 7pm when she discusses her latest historic family drama The Last Station about the riverboat trade on the Darling River. She is the author of ten novels: The Bark Cutters, A Changing Land, Sunset Ridge, The Great Plains, Wild Lands, River Run, An Uncommon Woman, Stone Country and The Cedar Tree.

Library Lover's Book Sale

Love books? Then don’t miss our Library Lover’s Book Sale on Saturday 12 March from 9.30am at Orange City Library. Books on a wide range of topics including fiction, non-fiction, junior fiction and children’s books will be up for grabs from $1. Funds will go towards purchasing new books for the Library. The Farmers Markets will also be on – so make it a double date! There will be something for everyone!!
