The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) Orange Group has donated a gift subscription of the organisation's magazine called Essence to Orange City Library. ABA Orange Group leader Verity Williams said the magazine subscription was their gift to the community as well as a copy of the book Breastfeeding Naturally. Pictured is Orange City Library's Elizabeth Barry and Lyn Bugden with Verity williams and son Mitchell, with Jane Bigelow breastfeeding Jayce at the Magazine gift presentation. “We are a voluntary organisation encouraging and supporting mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies and promote skilled and loving mothering, therefore encouraging close and happy family relationships while creating community awareness of the importance of human milk,” Verity said. She said the magazine assists with practical advice to help mothers gain confidence and has a whole range of advice and information for families.”
The ABA Orange group usually meet on alternate Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Harvest For Christ Church on the corner of Churchill and Glenroi Avenues, Orange. For more information call Verity on 6363 1845.
